The fascination with Gabby Petito’s case continues, as new details begin to emerge regarding the exact cause of her death. Before moving on with the main body of this story, I want to preface it by saying that it’s not my intention to upset any readers, with the graphic and straight forward delivery of my beliefs and theories, that I’m about to discuss. I’m quite certain that there are people who are tired of the constant media barrage surrounding Gabby’s demise. But I think it’s important to take real life situations — situations that are both good and bad — and use them to bring light to what can, and does occur as a result. That’s my goal, with this piece.

Recently, County Coroner Brent Blue revealed that Gabby died from manual strangulation — and a term known as “throttling”. Throttling is defined as strangulation by means of manually placing your hands around the neck and throat of the victim. It differs from ligature strangulation — in that type of strangulation, a garrote (piece of wire or cord) is used.
