Hi A.W.! This story is a very good, albeit sad read. I'm a former police officer of 20 years and forensic child interviewer of 6 years. In my years of policing, my primary role was that of an investigator of child abuse and adult sex crimes in general. It's well known in the law enforcement community that the VAST number of sex offenders, cannot be rehabilitated. For courts to not recognize that, to this day, is still incredulous to me. This man should have never been released to begin with. If that were the case, Jill would be alive, and his other victims would have never been victimized by him.
